Lessons are another reason why The Fly Hatch is quite
different than your average internet company or mail
order outfit. We founded our business based on instruction
and teaching and we will continue this through our web
site. We have 3 in-house instructors who can schedule
lessons with you six days a week. Take a few moments

Fly Casting Lessons
David Frassinelli and Captains Dave Chouinard and Dick
Dennis are all certified FFF casting instructors who
are eager to help you with your fly cast. With over
8 years of teaching and 1500 lessons under our belt,
we will effectively help you with:

| Fly Tying Lessons |
|
Fly tying is a truly wonderful skill and hobby, which
can entertain for a lifetime. Children, adults, men
or women, all can enjoy this creative part of fly fishing.
Everyone at The Fly Hatch looks forward to teaching
you this unique past time. It's an incredible feeling
to catch a fish on a fly that you tied yourself!
We take so much pride in our fly tying lessons that
we designed our own custom fly tying bench. This bench
is eight feet long and four feet
wide. It is set up for six
students and one or two instructors and is equipped
with a computer with interactive fly tying CDs to help
in the learning process.
With this design, all six students have a clear view
of the instructor. We invite you to stop in and tie
a fly on our bench!

| Knot & Leader Tying Lessons |
|
Knots are very intimidating to many people entering
into the sport of fly fishing. At The Fly Hatch we pride
ourselves on personal one-on-one instruction. Take one
of our knot and leader typing lessons and see how easy
and simple many of these knots can be.
Whether you would like to learn how to tie standard
leaders or complex IGFA Tarpon and Offshore leaders,
one of our knot classes will show you the way.
